My name is Daisy Edwards and I am going to be commencing my AS Media coursework this coming year, I have decided to do the music print project as I find music is a big part of my life and I would gain vital experience with the equipment that I will use.
On this blog I plan on looking at a few of my favourite musicians and they look they go for (as well as looking how my own artist will be similar or will contrast with these artists). I will also look at magazine covers, gaining ideas from them for my own piece. In this project I will create a front cover to a music magazine, a contents page to this magazine and a double page spread of the feature article, featuring my own artist.
While designing these pieces I will keep in mind of the audience of the magazine, the artists and music itself, however more information about the audience will be discussed on a later date when I have researched more into my own style of music and the genre of music that my artist belongs to.
