Planning: Programs.

I have now been trained on photo shop and in design. These two programs will allow me to edit the shots I take of my artist and will allow me to layout my pages in a professional style. These two programmes are used frequently in the industry and I look forward to using them.

Now that I know what I am capable of, layout and editing wise, I have started sketching some ideas for my front cover. I will get these scanned in as soon as possible. For my front cover I plan on using an extreme closeup on my artists face, while in my contents page I will not only have an image of my featured artist (Kathy Striker) but I will also be getting other images of artists involved in that issue of the magazine. For my double page spread I will ask my model, Sarah, to bring three outfits; one would be a red dress, the other would what she would wear if she were singing on stage, the final outfit will be what she is most comfortable in - this image will be used to show her at the interview.
