During a photoshoot for my A2 project, I also managed to get shots for my contents page and a few for the double page spread. I will of course book a studio slot in order to take photographs for the font cover and the double page spread.
Fonts.
I have decided to use the font "Cat Shop" as it fits with the artists image (timeless, quirky, alternative) I may use a font similar to Times New Roman when writing the rest of the article.
I have yet to decide on a font for the front cover and contents page, however I must keep in mind the appearance of the mast head, with "Improv" being the title of my magazine, on both front cover and contents page.
House Style.
I have been thinking of bold colours that fit the acoustic/singer song writer genre of the music magazine, I have come up with:
Of course with the colours black and white. I have decided to use the colour red when representing my artist, so thiscolour will hopefully be prominent in the double page spread. I also plan on using earthy colours, if I decide to chose a location shot for my double page spread.
