Planning: Fonts.

I used the website dafont.com to search for any fonts that I like or would use in my magazine. I searched through the serif and sans serif as these were two common types of font used in magazines, as they were both eye catching and easy to read. For my interview text I will be using a font similar to Times New Roman as it is easy to understand and would fit the image of my artist.

Sansation - I like the look of the font, it's simple but eye catching. It also looks quite modern which doesn't fit with the image of the magazine or any of the artists in it.

Aubrey - This one looks quite fancy, it may fit the artists image however it seems to girly to be used in the double page spread.

Qlassik - I like this one, it would fit for the mast head of the magazine as it is bold, eye catching and looks quite relaxed. I may later experiment to see whether this would fit with the house style of the magazine.

London - This has to be my favourite, is bold, eye catching, smart and also quite "cool" looking. This is a definite contender in being my mast head for my magazine.

Neuton - This is smart, bold and quite dramatic looking. I may use this for my contents page with the tag lines and text boxes as well as keep it for the mast head of the page "Contents"

Cat Shop - Snazzy looking and eye catching, I will sue this for the head line in my double page spread as  I feel that it would fit my artists image if coloured red.
