The red lips, although doesn't fit the woodland theme of the photo shoot, keeps with the artist image, allowing audience members to realise it is her. The red also ties in with the house style of the magazine.
The green eye shadow will link in with the colour of text used for captioning photos and will also fit with the woodland theme of the photo shoot. The green will also compliment the artists appearance and make her appear more eye catching for the audience.
The actor playing the artist for my magazine already uses black eyeliner and I really like the look as it brings out the her eyes (which will be giving direct address to the audience - keeping to the conventions.)
The face paint that I previously mentioned will only be a small amount of detail at the left side of her face.
The fantasy, leafy pattern is what I am aiming for however I will make it more subtle and a lot smaller like in the below image.
One photograph that I plan on using for my double page spread is a side view, the left, of the artist in a close up, looking at some of the text. I want to create a spot light effect with the lighting, to create a more striking image.
